Wedding draping is our most popular course for newcomers to the events industry, as it is a very practical course that compliments and enhances the creative flair in students from all walks of life.
This one day wedding draping course will teach you how to drape a backdrop over frames that can be applied at the entrance to venues, churches, behind a main table at weddings, on stages, fashion shows and many other applications. We will look at different styles of cake table draping with different types of fabric as well as decorative chair back draping.
We do not neglect the main table, which is the focal point at the reception, and once again use different styles and fabrics to decorate it.
The student will also learn what kind of materials to use for the applications above. In addition the student learns to calculate the material required for the job at hand as well as how to cost the job. The student receives a toolbox list of what is required at start-off and where the items can be purchased.
This course was designed for people who have a passion for events and wishes to enter the market. Students from all ages and backgrounds have been attending this course and we invite you to attend our next course.
Wedding draping is a one-day practical course from 9 am to 4 pm. We therefore request that students wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
Students will be handed Comprehensive Notes, Supplier's list in the area and a Certificate on completion in the afternoon. Refreshments are supplied. The students are urged to bring a camera to photograph step-by-step progress.
Should we get 6 students or more we will come to the area in which the course is required - please contact us.
The venue is dependant on the number of students and therefore we confirm the address with students a week before the course.
