Liezl Zene Make up Artistry

Liezl Zene is an internationally qualified make-up artist with a total passion for, and dedication to, the work she loves.

Her vocational studies began in 2002 at The Make-up School in Johannesburg at which she specialised in beauty, fashion and photographic make-up. In 2006 she decided to fly to the UK in order to further perfect her skills as a make-up artist, attending the prestigious London College of Fashion, where she worked in promotional make-up, and in hairstyling for make-up artists.

Liezl began her freelance career in the Film/TV Industry and worked on successful international films and documentaries such as BBC'S Walking with Cavemen, and Beat the Drum and Proes straat. Her teaching experience includes lecturing for JAFFAE (Johannesburg Academy For Finishing And Etiquette), Damelin and Camelot. Liezl has extensive experience in makeover photographic studios, where she worked in SA and the UK, as well in an editorial capacity, for Intiem, Huisgenoot, Leef and Tempo magazines. She has worked with many celebrities, including Juanita du Plessis, Carike Keuzenkamp, Heinz Winkler, and as head of department her work includes music videos for Albert de Wet, Sorina Erasmus, Wonderboom & Just Jinger
