| Prepares for: | After finishing this course students will have a complete understanding of the software and the workflow required to use it successfully. Namely they will be able to create 3D models from templates or from scratch, give them a realistic look by means of properly creating and projecting textures, they will know how to generate a suitable lighting setup for the scene, give life to their models by animating them, and finally composite them into real video footage adding visual effects if necessary. |

The aim of this course is to provide students with a functional working knowledge of Autodesk Maya, Adobe After Effects and V-Ray as well as a thorough understanding of their application into the different markets such as broadcast TV & film, game and design visualization, etc.
This course is extremely comprehensive as all the major aspects of each piece of software are covered. As these programs are very extensive, students are expected to be committed to learning and not averse to doing extra homework. In fact, the passion for 3D in any of its aspects is one of the major requirements!
